About the event
We are having a “Meet the Candidates Rally” at Bridge Park in Sylva on Saturday, August 20. The event kicks off at 4 PM (set-up begins at 3) and includes food, music, candidates, fellowship with Democrats and activities for children. Bring a blanket and/or bag chairs and enjoy the afternoon in what we hope will be sunshine.
Local candidates will be there as will some of the state candidates. There will campaign materials, information about who’s running for what, and campaign literature on hand, too. And, of course, there’s always an opportunity to make a donation to the party or sign a volunteer sheet.
