Although I was born and raised in Raleigh, I have been proud to call Jackson County my second home for the past four and a half years! I never thought that I would become so involved in local politics, but after volunteering on the Harris campaign in 2024, my passion for promoting real and positive change was only fueled. I am both honored and ecstatic to serve my community as Secretary of the NC-11 Democrats. As I like to remind people, there is no such thing as a Red state, just a disenfranchised one, and Western North Carolina is no exception.
I am committed to electing Democrats up and down the ballot on every level for the betterment of our beautiful and resilient region, and all those who live here. I may be young, but my involvement in my community, education in Political Science at Western Carolina University, and passion as a lifelong Democrat has inspired me to challenge the ultranationalist, far-right authoritarians who have kept American citizens under their heel for far too long. Change is possible, we just have to work hard enough to achieve in it. I believe in our community, and I believe in our Party! In such strange and terrifying circumstances, it is now more important than ever that we Democrats rise up and face these threats to our democracy head on.
